Submarine SMASH Day Reflection

Submarine SMASH Day Reflection

Today in science class we did a very interesting and fun science experiment. It was Submarine SMASH day reflection. Our mission was... To make a periscope and discover the box on the land inder the water which we needed to be under the table in the science class. Captain Ms. Smith(the nice captain ever!!) gave us the supplies to creat the periscope and then we can ues it to see the treasures in that cardboard treasure box. Each group has 10 papers, a mirror, a cardboard, a scissers, and free tapes. We have to see the treasure in the box as soon as possible, then we can traded it with captain for a chance to not doing work and have a nice break for a day. Behind the succesful there are always have fails. Luckly my partner Terry and I only needed to test it for 5 times and it worked great! But it just needed a little bit modified because it was not stable enough. So we builded the hard cardboard around our periscope and it worked even better. Everything were settle down. But we lost. It was because we were to slow. Sigh... Anyways, it was a great experience. There were two ideas that I never thought of and they work pretty well. If there are someone else is taking this mission, too. And they have a captain as nice as we do. I will suggest them do not use too many mirrors. Because the scense from your periscope will become indistinct.

Augustine finished the mission uncompleted.
